    • Takayama Castle Ruins

      This castle is said to have been built by Kobayakawa Shigehira.
      In 1550, Motonari Mori's third son, Takakage, inherited the Numata Kobayakawa family.
      He entered Takayama Castle in October 1551 (Tenbun 20).
    • Mihara Castle Ruins

      The Yassa Dance, which is performed at the Yassa Festival, Mihara's representative festival,

    • Butsuji Temple

      It is the head temple of the Rinzai sect of Buddhism, Buttsuji school, known as one of the leading Zen training centers in Japan.
    • Mitsugi Hachiman Shrine

      The Sengoku period warlord, Kobayakawa Takakage, lived here for 45 years.
