    • Setonaikai National Park Mt Fudekage and Mt Ryuo

    • Takayama Castle Ruins

      This castle is said to have been built by Shigehira Kobayakawa.
      Tenbun 19 (1550), Takakage, the third son of Motonari Mori, inherited Numata Kobayakawa Family.
      I entered Takayama Castle in October Tenbun 20 (1551) (1551).
    • Mihara Castle Ruins

      Yassa Dance, performed at the Yassa Festival, a representative festival of Mihara,
      To celebrate the completion of the castle, shamisen and drums were played.
      It is said that it began when people got drunk on celebratory drinks and started dancing while humming their favorite songs.
    • Buttsu-ji Temple

      In 1397, Oei 4th year (1397), Haruhira Kobayakawa, Lord of Numata Takayama Castle, invited the renowned Guchu Shukyu Zen Master to establish the temple.
      It is the head temple of Rinzai Zen Sect Buttsu-ji Branch, known as one of Japan's leading Zen training centers.
    • Mitsuki Hachimangu Shrine

      During Tensho, Hideyoshi Toyotomi visited Mihara Castle.
      It is said that he hand-planted cherry trees in the temple grounds.
      Many National Important Cultural Property are preserved here, including Wooden Komainu (guardian lion), ancient wooden planks, and Amitabha Sutra.

      This castle served as the residence of the Sengoku period warlord Takakage Kobayakawa for 45 years.
      Located between the National Historic Site of Takayama Castle Ruins and the abundant Nutagawa River,
